Oakland Community College's Graphic Design students were tasked with designing a poster for a campus MLK speaker event. Drawing inspiration from the iconic 2008 Obama "Hope" poster, I utilized Photoshop to create a striking image of Dr. King. To complement the image, blocks of text were added in Illustrator, utilizing color schemes inspired by modern movements for equality, such as BLM and LGBTQ+.  Finally, all the elements were arranged using Indesign.
